Installing the Fans and Intake Screens

Complete the following steps to install the fans and intake screens after cleaning.

  1. Place the intake screens back in the original location below the fans.
    Note Ensure that the intake screens do not fall out.
  2. Place the fans inside the fan bracket with the square slot oriented as shown in the following figure.
    Note Air flows into the chassis, so the plastic grill and label on the fans should face toward the front of the WTS .

  3. Install the fan shoulder screws and tighten the screws to between 3.0 lb · in minimum torque and 3.6 lb · in maximum torque.
  4. Place the fan access panel over the opening and secure with the access panel screws. Tighten the access panel screws to between 3.0 lb · in minimum torque and 3.6 lb · in maximum torque.
  5. Caution Ensure there are no loose parts prior to plugging in the power cord.
    Reorient the WTS to an upright position.
