Wireless Test System Getting Started Guide

This document explains how to install, test, and use the Wireless Test System ( WTS ), manufacturing number NI-MCT001. The WTS is a multi-port full duplex RF communications test set with up to 200 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth.

The WTS includes an embedded Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) interface. The SCPI interface, called the Wireless Test System Instrument Software (WTS Software) includes SCPI commands supported by the WTS instrument. Refer to the Wireless Test System Instrument Software User Guide , available at ni.com/manuals, for SCPI command reference and example code for performing common measurements.

You can also use the TestStand Wireless Test Module (WTM), available at ni.com/downloads, to control the WTS and test DUTs.

Note You can use any programming language that sends SCPI calls over VISA to control the WTS , however, this document describes getting started using only WTS Software.
Caution You can impair the protection provided by the WTS if you use it in a manner not described in this document.
