Sending Emails to Clients
Use the Email Clients Wizard to email one or more clients.
Before using the Email Clients Wizard, you must configure the NI VLM email settings. Click Configure Email Settings to launch the Email Server preferences dialog box.

Editing Email Addresses
Use this page to add or edit the selected client email addresses.
- Click in the Email column to edit an email address.
- Check Overwrite the email addresses stored in NI VLM with these email addresses if you want to correct or update the current client information stored in NI VLM. This option is not available if you are sending an email to clients using the Permission Requests view.
Adding Email Content
Use this page to enter the message you want to send to the selected clients.
- Enter a subject.
- Enter the message text. Administrator information is appended if available, but you can edit it here if necessary.
- Click Send to send the message to the selected clients.
Finishing the Wizard
This page displays the list of clients to whom the wizard successfully sent email.
If NI VLM encountered any issues while sending email, click Back to verify client email addresses and email server settings.
