Installing the TB-6569

Complete the following steps to install the TB-6569 with a PXIe-6569 and prepare signal connections.

Before you begin, install the PXIe-6569 in a chassis and ensure that all signals are disconnected from the PXIe-6569 if you have not already done so. Refer to the getting started guide for your module at ni.com/manuals for installation instructions.

  4. Alignment Feature
  1. Move the TB-6569 into position in front of the PXIe-6569 and engage the alignment feature with the guide on the associated module.
  2. Attach the TB-6569 to the PXIe-6569 by pushing the terminal block straight into the module.
  3. Insert a Phillips PH1 torque screwdriver into the top Tool Access port and tighten the top mounting screw of the TB-6569 to a maximum torque of 0.55 N · m (4.9 lb · in.) to attach it to the module.
Note Hold the TB-6569 and assist pushing the terminal block into the PXIe-6569 as you tighten the mounting screws to ensure that the terminal block remains secure during installation.
