Storing and Forwarding Test Data
Store offline test data on a client to back up data or insure against network disruptions. The NI SystemLink Test Monitor Client plugin for TestStand stores test data locally and forwards this data to the server whenever a network connection is available.
Refer to the following table to determine the conditions under which you want
your client to store data and forward it to Test Monitor.
Goal | What to do |
---|---|
Store all test data on the client regardless of connection status, memory consumption, and storage space. Automatically forward this data in batches whenever the client is connected to the server. |
|
Store test data on the client only when the client is disconnected from the server; for example, during a network interruption. Automatically forward this data to the server when the client reconnects to it. |
|
Maintain optimal memory usage and storage availability regardless of losing offline data. | Use the default configuration of the plugin. |
