Reloading Sequence or Step Tables
The most common group types of PAconfigurator can be exchanged during the runtime of the test. This exchange is called reloading. The details on reloading objects can be found in the PAconfigurator manual.
The RLO (reloadable object) tab contains a list of all objects that you can reload in the current test.
The status bar above this list indicates the following states:
- Ready—An object from the list is available for selection and editing.
- Object opened—The selected object is opened for editing.
- Reloaded locked—The reloaded object is in use and cannot be reloaded.

Complete the following steps to reload objects.
- Ensure the reload state is Ready.
- Select the object to be reloaded from the list.
-
Click Edit.
The reload state changes to Object opened and the PAconfigurator group window opens for editing.
- Change the setpoint settings, etc.
-
Save the changes and close the PAconfigurator group window.
Tip To cancel editing without triggering a complete reload process, click Abort on the RLO tab instead of closing the PAconfigurator group window. The Test Generator starts automatically and generates the reloadable object. After the generation process, the reload state changes to Ready.
- You can now use the change object in the test. As long as the automatic mode is active the reload state changes to Reload locked. When the automatic mode ends, the reload state changes to Ready.
