isdigit

isdigit

int isdigit (int testCharacter);

Purpose

Tests to see if a character is a decimal digit (0-9). The input to this function must be a character with integer value between 0 and 255.

Parameters

Input
Name Type Description
testCharacter int Contains the character to be tested. The input must be a character with integer value between 0 and 255.

Return Value

Name Type Description
testResult int Contains the returned result of the test. The function returns a nonzero (true) integer value if the character being tested is a decimal digit (0-9).
