Displaying All Hidden Controls and Indicators
You can display all hidden front panel controls and indicators of custom controls and global variables by selecting Edit»Show Hidden Controls and Indicators. This option is available only in the Edit menu of a custom control or global variable VI. Complete the following steps to display controls and indicators for VIs that are not custom control or global variable VIs.
-
Open the ShowHidden Core VI in the labview\project\_ShowHidden directory. You must open the ShowHidden Core VI in the same application instance as the VI that contains the controls and indicators you want to display.
- Enter the name of the target VI in the VI Name text box of the ShowHidden Core VI.
- Click the Run button.
All hidden front panel controls and indicators of the target VI appear, and the Ctl Labels indicator of the ShowHidden Core VI displays the labels of the controls and indicators shown.
