Variable: FFTCoherence
Specifies whether DIAdem calculates the coherence.
Definition | FFTCoherence, Boolean variable |
This function specifies the degree of linear relation between two signals as input and output values of a dynamic process. DIAdem calculates the coherence from the mean of the cross spectrum and the mean of the autospectra of the two signal series. If there is no linear relation between the two signals, the coherence is zero. The closer the coherence function is to the value 1, the higher the linear interdependence of the signals.
Only calculate the coherence for several channel pairs or for several time intervals. Otherwise the coherence assumes the constant value of 1.
