Some NI software products provide debug and deployment licenses so you can resolve issues with systems and applications in production.
The lists below include all of the debug and deployment licenses offered by NI. To order any of these licenses, contact your local sales engineer and reference the license's part number.
Debug licenses (sometimes referred to as debug/deployment licenses) are used to fix issues on an application or system that has already been created with a development license. Typically debug licenses are used when you have deployed an application and you need to periodically resolve issues with the code. A debug license for a particular software product provides the permission to install that software on one computer.
Debug licenses are sold with a Standard Service Program (SSP) contract.

A deployment license is required for distributing applications developed using a particular software product. You must purchase one deployment license for each target computer on which the application will run. For some products, associated deployment licenses are distinct from the type of license that has been used for development. For some other products, deployment licenses are the same as development licenses except they are used for deployment purposes.
The following software products have separate deployment licenses that are required for distributing applications developed using the product. Separate deployment licenses are required to have distributed applications running on a deployment machine. Separate deployment licenses do not offer a Standard Service Program (SSP).
